First HEARTH Units Installed in Danish Island Communities

Atumics has completed the installation of its first three HEARTH micro-nuclear power units in island communities off the Danish coast. Each sealed unit provides 20 kW thermal and 8 kW electric for a projected 20-year fuel cycle, marking the world's first deployment of subcritical residential nuclear power.

Partnership

Atumics and Airbus Announce ZEPHYR-L Partnership

Atumics and Airbus have signed a joint development agreement for ZEPHYR-L, a large-platform electro-hydrodynamic propulsion system for personnel transport. The partnership combines Atumics' EHD thruster technology and HEARTH-derived nuclear-electric power with Airbus' airframe engineering and certification expertise.

Research Milestone

HEARTH Prototype Achieves Sustained Power Output

The HEARTH subcritical micro-nuclear reactor prototype has achieved sustained power output under controlled conditions, passing a critical IAEA review milestone. The unit demonstrated continuous 20 kW thermal output over a 90-day test period.

Corporate

Atumics Closes Sovereign Investment Round

Atumics A/S has closed a strategic investment round with sovereign wealth fund partners from allied nations, bringing total capital raised to €2.4 billion. The funding supports expansion of all three research pillars and the completion of campus Phase II construction.

AI & Infrastructure

Atum Scientist Deployed for Internal Research

The Atum Scientist autonomous research agent has been deployed across Atumics' internal laboratories, conducting experiments in quantum sensing, molecular design, and nuclear engineering with minimal human intervention. Early results show a 3x acceleration in hypothesis-to-validation cycles.

Product Launch

VULCAN Pilot Operations Begin in Greenland

Under agreement with the Danish Realm, Atumics has commenced VULCAN pilot operations in Greenland — the first deployment of autonomous in-situ resource extraction technology. The system combines quantum gravimetry mapping, robotic boring, and underground chemical processing.

Research Milestone

ZEPHYR-M Demonstrates 200 kg Payload

The medium-platform ZEPHYR-M electro-hydrodynamic propulsion system has demonstrated sustained flight with a 200 kg payload in operational conditions. The silent, moving-parts-free system operated for 45 minutes on extended battery configuration.

Product Launch

APF v2.0 Released to External Partners

Version 2.0 of the Atumics Programming Framework is now available to external research partners. The release includes neural surrogate fast-simulation, expanded molecular component libraries, and Gluino manufacturing integration. 80 institutional licenses active within six months.

Research Milestone

SpectraLens Achieves Heisenberg-Limit Sensitivity

Atumics' SpectraLens quantum EM sensor array has achieved sensitivity approaching the Heisenberg uncertainty limit across RF through optical frequencies in laboratory conditions. The breakthrough uses nitrogen-vacancy diamond centers combined with proprietary plasmonic nanoantenna arrays.

Research Milestone

ZEPHYR-S Achieves First Flight

The ZEPHYR-S small-platform electro-hydrodynamic propulsion module has achieved first flight, lifting a 5 kg payload using ionic thrust with no moving parts and near-silent operation. Campus construction Phase I completed the same month.

Product Launch

AEGIS v1.0 Deployed for NATO Evaluation

The first operational version of AEGIS — the Adaptive Environment & Geospatial Intelligence System — has been deployed for evaluation by NATO allied forces. The system combines multi-modal sensing with NLOS reconstruction for occluded-environment mapping.

Contract Award

Atumics Secures First DARPA Contract

Atumics A/S has been awarded its first contract from DARPA for non-line-of-sight radar reconstruction research. The contract supports development of algorithms that treat multipath signal propagation as information rather than noise.

Corporate

Atumics A/S Incorporated

Atumics A/S has been incorporated in Denmark by founders Morten Skaersoe and Thomas Munkholm. The company pursues a single mission: solving control of matter and forces at the atomic scale to advance human prosperity and creativity.
